Thrasher Magazine, aka the Bible of the skate world was started by Eric Swanson and Fausto Vitello in 1981. Since then, Thrasher has been one of the main sources of information and inspiration for skaters worldwide.

As Thrasher grew in popularity, they expanded beyond just the magazine, making merchandise- t-shirts and hoodies, for skaters and their fans. Some of the original graphic t- shirts included the Thrasher Magazine logo, the famous Thrasher Flames logo and Thrasher Skategoat. But over the years Thrasher Clothing has collaborated with a number of skaters, artists and streetwear brands to bring a wider range of products including jackets, caps, sweatpants, bandanas along with graphic t- shirts and hoodies.

Apart from collaborating with brands like Supreme and Adidas, Thrasher Clothing also collaborated with artists like Mark Gonzales, Pushead and Neckface.

Thrasher Clothing  also does collabs with local communities and that tell a story of the Thrasher family legacy.

One of their recent collab was with the San Francisco Fire Department, which Thrasher founder Fausto Vitello’s father and Thrasher owner Tony Vitello’s grandfather was a part of.

The collection features graphic thirst featuring artworks paying homage to the “Alley Cats”- the nickname for the Fire Department. Some of the stand out pieces is the Truck 1 Tee and Alley Cats Tee. The Truck 1 Tee features a graphic of 2 firemen’s axes against the Thrasher Flame logo with the Department fire truck number. Another t-shirt in this collection features a graphic of a bad ass looking cat with the text Alley Cats under it also in reference to the fire department.
